CALCIUM: It is essential for the functional integrity of the nervous system & muscular system, where it has the major influence on the integrity and excitability of these tissues. It is necessary for the normal cardiac function, & is one of the major factors that operate in the mechanisms involved in the coagulation of the blood. Calcium also plays a role in maintaining the structural contiguity of cells that are arranged to form a continuum - a multi cellular membrane. The body’s needs for calcium are met from food & the prominent source is milk & its products. The calcium intake varies from 200 to 1500mg of calcium per day.

ZINC: Zinc plays important role in various biological activities particularly in numerous enzymatic pathways including synthesis of nucleic acids and metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. It also helps in development of cell-mediated immunity.

MAGNESIUM: It is required for the cellular metabolism and has role in CVS disease. Its daily normal requirement is 350 mg/day.

VITAMIN D3: It is required for the bone growth and Calcium metabolism. It plays important role in the absorption of dietary calcium from the intestine and its deposition in the bone. Its daily dose varies from 200 to 400 I.U.

VITAMIN B12: It has essential role in the synthesis of DNA in the cell nucleus. It is required for proper functioning of the CNS & the metabolism of Folic Acid; its daily requirement is I rug. Deficiency of Vitamin B 12 cause Neuropathy, SACD of spinal cord and glossitis.

INDICATIONS: In calcium deficiency due to pregnancy & lactation, Osteoporosis, Pathological fractures, Brittle hair & nails, growing children.

DOSAGE:
Tablet: One tablet 2-3 times a day or as directed by the physician.
Syrup: Adults - 10-20 ml. Daily or as directed by the physician.
            Children - 5-10 ml. Daily or as directed by the physician.
