Ist Generation (1939 – 1954) (Vacuum Tubes)
          The weight of this computer was 27. Developed in the early years of 20th century it was about 15 meters long.

II Generation (1954 – 1959) (Transistors)
          The components we associate with the modern day computers, printer, memory disk storage operating system also containing.

III Generation (1959 – 1971) (Integrated)
          These computers were smaller as compared to the second generation computers.

IV Generation (1971 – 1991) (Microprocessor)
          They have a much greater computing processor and extremely large memory.

V. Generation (Latest Vers) (Adv Microprocessor)
          Till the IV Generation 9 computers, the major streets was on improving the hardware. This resulted in smaller size and fast speed of computers.
